CAREER STATEMENT
I pride myself on injecting insight, compassion, and wit into any workplace I enter. With a constant drive to learn and improve and a demand for excellence, I believe relationships are the foundation to a thriving life — both personal and professional.
My time at Emerson has informed this career statement that guides my professional life. But what does it actually mean?
INSIGHT
Insight - reading a situation, person, or circumstance and recognizing the best path forward - can defuse crises before they occur, establish a strong working relationship in seconds, and guide a project in the right direction. It’s a skill that cannot be understated — and one I have in spades.
Thinking outside-the-box, creative problem-solving, and a good-natured sense of humor all fall under “wit”. No matter the obstacle ahead, I’m prepared with a workaround, an alternative solution, or a moment of levity. Having strong vision and an eye for details doesn’t hurt either!
COMPASSION
WIT
While listing compassion as a central working tenet may seem trite, it’s much more than niceties. Whether I’m a follower or a leader, I believe trust and collaboration expedite professional undertakings, build a crucial core of trust, and lend a sense of authenticity and integrity to any working environment.
