As a TriplePoint associate, I handled daily audits for multiple clients, including The Pokémon Company and Blizzard. I researched and compiled coverage of various games, topics, and products, linking articles of interest and creating high-level overview statements regarding press sentiment. This practice required both foundational research skills in gathering information and an ability to concisely capture the most important content in just a few sentences. In addition, I conducted background briefs on journalists who would be meeting/interviewing our clients. Above, you can see a sample briefing sheet I built for Bryant Francis, Senior Editor for Game Informer. Francis would be interviewing the CEO of BITKRAFT Ventures, a leading global investor in cryptocurrency and games technology. I researched his previous articles, extracting necessary information to help inform our perspective on the interview itself. I used that knowledge to build a list of sample questions, citing relevant/necessary articles to help the CEO conduct the interview to the best of his ability.

TRIPLEPOINT PR

“Demonstrate information literacy through research skills in gathering and analyzing information.”

In the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to work as an Associate with TriplePoint PR. TriplePoint PR is a major PR agency focused in tech and gaming sectors, working with titans like Meta, Blizzard, and The Pokémon Company. Alongside a team of mentors and other Public Relations professionals, I compiled extensive media lists, researched journalists’ work to create briefing sheets for interviews, and audited coverage of various topics and products to collate press sentiment.

Hence, I chose my internship time with TriplePoint PR as the best demonstration of the above learning objective.
